In Greek mythology, Athena was the shrewd companion of Heroes and the Goddess of Heroic endeavour. She would also come to be known as the goddess of wisdom. In classical myth she never had a consort or lover, and thus was often known as Athena Parthenos ("Athena the virgin"), hence her most famous temple, the Parthenon, on the Acropolis in Athens. In a remnant of archaic myth, she was the mother of Erichthonius and this is a portrait of her rare state of pregnancy. Her back is turned away, hiding her situation in order to preserve her honorable virgin status.

Tamara, the Queen of The Goths, begged and pleaded for the Great Titus Andronicus to spare her firstborn son from the slaughter. After her greatest loss, she vowed to destroy his family in the same way. This is a family tree used as a backdrop for a One-Time Shakespearean Performance of Titus Andronicus through the eyes of Tamara. This vicious story of vengence was performed as the final thesis project in Acting at the California State University of Fullerton.

Having played Yahtzee many times in conjunction with card games under the influence in college at a friend’s home, I still often associate cards and yahtzee as a set of games only played together late at night. There is an installed clock in the “ace” that doesn’t work.

Honestly: Reminiscent of a time when I helped carry a new 21 year old from a bar. This is what her view must have been. ‘Audrey’s’ is supposed to be hung upside-down in order to represent one memory held on throughout the night. Have you ever had so much to drink that your night is remembered in chapters of pictures? –this is the picture she remembers as the beginning of her chapter: “How I got home that night.”

The recurring symbol ‘Om’ represents both the unmanifest (nirguna) and manifest (saguna) aspects of God. That is why it is called pranava, to mean that it pervades life and runs through our prana or breath.
It is interesting to note that a newly born child is ushered into the world with this holy sign. After birth, the child is ritually cleansed and the sacred syllable Om is written on its tongue with honey. Thus right at the time of birth the syllable Om is initiated into the life of a Hindu and ever remains with him as the symbol of piety.
According to the Mandukya Upanishad, "Om is the one eternal syllable of which all that exists is but the development. The past, the present, and the future are all included in this one sound, and all that exists beyond the three forms of time is also implied in it". This is a portrait of a woman’s omnipresent Om force all around her (her always present past) as well as growing inside of her (her future).

Midnight atop a hill a man and woman were formed into a single tree. The man is the taller part on the left and the woman on the right. They sit waiting and watching over the village below for a couple to come up at midnight on a full moon in order to change places with them. Pictured here they have waited over 1000 years.

The dark parts of the Moon's surface were called maria or seas, and the light parts were called terrae or continents. The terrae are represented in this painting by glass shards taken from a mirror in order to reflect the owner onto the Moon’s surface. The maria are the deep thoughts within a person that cannot be seen from the surface—therefore the mirrors have been removed. There are no stars in this sky, no shiny and distracting objects to take away focus on yourself, on your moon. The branches extended towards you representing the earth reaching up to you, longing for your reflection of light.
