Mortality
Mortality
The Yella Collection
Acrylic on Canvas
Subtitles : Limited, Acknowledge, Relinquish. Inspired by the film "Never Let Me Go." Mortality can be seen in two different ways. I see them both. Both cause me pain. But I know its all in God's hands, which comforts me.

Anniversary
Anniversary
The Yella Collection
Acrylic on Canvas
On our Anniversary weekend we took a trip to Solvang. I absolutely loved a painting I saw in a gallery there and was inspired. The painting in the gallery was sad and wintery. This is my adaptation. This version is much more romantic and springy...nearing the end of Winter, afternoon, bittersweet.

Apple Valley Death Squad
Apple Valley Death Squad
The Yella Collection
Acrylic on Canvas
"Apple valley Death Squad" is a Southern CA based band. I was inspired to paint them a portrait of what the name means to me. The stick driven into the top of the main skull creating an apple-like look is what is causing the blood to pour from the top of the head. The squad is following the main skull to avenge a crime.
